Seiko Instruments Wide format printing: The Culture of Precision

Thursday 02. April 2015 - Seiko Instruments GmbH from Neu-Isenburg, Germany, is going back to its roots of the precise art of clockmaking. Every wide format printer of the Japanese company implies the clockwork's precision of exact and highly advanced technology.

It is Seiko Instruments’ target to show “The Culture of Precision” on this years’ FESPA in Cologne. The international audience will have the possibility to see the latest ColorPainter generation: having ColorPainter H2-104 as a basis it will run with eco solvent SX-ink and most of ColorPainter M-64s’ path breaking technologies will be implemented. By that it achieves up to now unknown print results in this range and especially in high-speed-printing.
Of course the award winning ColorPainter M-64s will also be showcased, whereas especially its extraordinary performance in backlit printing will be emphasized. The opaque black is the ultimate solution for backlit materials which will be shown by Seiko Intruments’ specialists with a particular ColorPainter M-64s Backlit-Lightbox.
Seiko Instruments will also exhibit its Drop on Demand piezoelectric printheads that provide outstanding productivity for multiple printing applications. The new RC1536 recirculation printhead has a maximum productivity of 1500 [uL/sec]/head and is developed based on a new generation of piezo design technology for achieving higher jetting frequency. Wide variations of drop sizes are available with Grayscale mode (8 grey levels /1 to 7 drops).
Following the historical affinity to precision Seiko Instruments will each day of FESPA raffle a SEIKO Sportura watch. Every day at 5:00 pm (last day of exhibition 4:00 pm) a winner of this sportive SEIKO watch will be drawn out of the participating visitors of Seiko Instruments booth during the day.
