California-based Greenerprinter Becomes SGP Certified

Wednesday 21. January 2015 - The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership is pleased to announce that Greenerprinter in Richmond, CA is among the most recent facilities certified as a SGP Printer. Greenerprinter is a graphics communications company, offering a complete range of printing services, including offset, digital printing, large format and display graphics, production design services, direct marketing services, finishing services, and warehousing and fulfillment services.

CEO and Founder of Greenerprinter, Mario Assadi comments, “We believe that climate change is real and is the result of human activity. We believe that there are no quick fixes and all need to address the serious work of reducing both greenhouse gases and other forms of waste. Greenerprinter’s focus is on achieving greater sustainability by improving the performance of our operations and practices. We value and emphasize measuring, analyzing and improving our operations to minimize our environmental footprint. There are several areas in which we still have work to do in order to further improve our operations.”
At Greenerprinter, the concept of environmental responsibility has been translated into tangible results realized through reducing our carbon footprint and reducing waste. “It’s important to us that our employees and the communities in which we operate and live benefit from our responsible practices. We are proud of what we have accomplished in the last 27 years. With each passing day we increase our understanding that the shift toward greater environmental responsibility is an ongoing process, a journey that is neither easy nor fast, but is one that is necessary and prudent if we are to ensure a sustainable future for our children and grandchildren,” adds Assadi.
“Greenerprinter has had a long and rich history dedicated to making its products and operations sustainable. The SGP certification is an achievement that recognizes their commitment to becoming one of the leaders in the printing industry,’ adds Gary Jones, assistant vice president, Printing Industries of America.
