HP Delivers Increased Security, Enhanced Mobility to Enterprise Customers

Tuesday 23. December 2014 - • Expanded printer security: HP Access Control 14.2 brings greater end-to-end encryption and reduction of unnecessary printing costs to enterprise organizations.

Users can now couple HP Access Control’s NFC touch-to-authenticate and secure pull printing functionality with the HP Officejet Pro X and Enterprise X’s touch-to-print capabilities. Additionally, HP Access Control now operates seamlessly with Unix and Linux operating systems. HP Access Control 14.2 will be available worldwide beginning November 22.
• Increased access to secured mobile printing: HP ePrint Enterprise 4.0 brings mobile printing to Windows 8-enabled smartphones for the first time. As a founding member of the Mopria Alliance, HP continues to make wireless printing from smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices simple and unified.
Previously available only on IOS, Android and Blackberry operating systems, Windows 8 smartphone users can now easily print directly from their device. HP ePrint Enterprise provides even greater ease of use through the support of AirPrint, which allows users to securely print documents directly from their smartphone without using a mobile app. HP ePrint Enterprise 4.0 will be available worldwide beginning November 30, 2014.
These enhancements support HP’s commitment to helping customers increase office productivity and enhance digital and paper workflows.
