Positive growth for FESPA China 2014

Friday 24. October 2014 - Exhibitors increase commitment, making FESPA China 2014 larger than the first 2013 event

FESPA China & CSGIA 2014 (19-21 November 2014, Guangzhou, China) has expanded its floor space by an entire hall compared with the inaugural FESPA China 2013, due to exhibitors’ demand for larger stands following the success of their 2013 participation.
The 2014 event will see domestic and international exhibitors spread across three halls at the Pazhou Poly World Trade Centre, Guangzhou, China, increasing the show area by 9000sqm, compared to FESPA China 2013.
Exhibitors who have increased their stand size include Cham Group, Chemica, J-Teck, Monti Antonio, MS, Siser, Stahls and Zund, with some exhibitors increasing their participation by more than 80%. FESPA’s partner for its China events and its Chinese association, CSGIA, has also added a number of first time exhibitors to the floor plan including Reggiani, Chemical Consultants and prodcran.
The move south from Shanghai to Guangzhou brings with it new local exhibitors and a fresh regional audience, in addition to FESPA China & CSGIA’s existing visitor base. Guangzhou is well connected and is one of China’s leading commercial and manufacturing regions, making it an ideal host city for an international trade event like FESPA China.
Nigel Steffens, FESPA Board Advisor, comments: “We received really positive feedback from last year’s FESPA China. Because of this, exhibitors have re-signed for 2014 and when doing so have in many cases, taken a larger stand. This has resulted in us having to expand the exhibition space to accommodate demand, demonstrating the role of FESPA shows in exhibitors’ sales and marketing plans.
“More space means exhibitors are able to bring more equipment, so there will be a broader range of technology for visitors to explore, increasing the opportunity to find the solutions they are looking for at the show.”
