X-RITE PANTONE TO EXHIBIT AT EMBALLAGE
Tuesday 21. October 2014 - COMPANY WILL SHOW HOW TO CONTROL COLOR ACCURACY IN ALL STAGES OF THE PACKAGING SUPPLY CHAIN
X-Rite Pantone today announced they are exhibiting at the Emballage Packaging Exhibition taking place in Paris from 17-20 November 2014. X-Rite Pantone will be exhibiting in stand 6 H 149, alongside their partner Esko exhibiting in stand 6 H 146. At the exhibition, X-Rite will showcase their range of products that give printers, packaging converters, and brand owners the tools to understand, manage, and control color accuracy throughout the supply chain.

Both companies will feature PantoneLIVE, a cloud-based color management service that was developed by X-Rite Pantone and is also offered as part of Esko’s Color Engine software. With PantoneLIVE, the digital brand color lives in a secure, centralized cloud ecosystem where it’s accessible to brand owners, designers, production people – literally everyone in the supply chain, no matter where they are located. This unprecedented level of access facilitates color standards across all phases of production, regardless of the printing technologies or substrates that are used.
In addition to PantoneLIVE, X-Rite Pantone will also highlight their entire range of color management products that can work individually or together to ensure color quality in every step of the production process. Products highlighted at Emballage include:

X-Rite eXact eXact is the next generation handheld spectrophotometer created to support the demands of a global supply chain. eXact enables printers and packaging converters to understand, control and manage color, ensuring the utmost in color accuracy and avoiding costly reprinting and rework.
eXact Scan – eXact Scan extends the functionality of the X-Rite eXact by adding unmatched speed, flexibility and new quality control for the printing and packaging industries.
InkKeyControl – Combining eXact Scan with InkKeyControl software from X-Rite enables color management at a low cost of entry. InkKeyControl allows printers to achieve faster make-ready and improve quality control through the control of ink keys.
InkFormulation 6.2 – With new features and enhancements, the latest version of InkFormulation gives users more flexibility in the way they handle the software. InkFormulation 6.2 creates formulation for all colors of a PantoneLIVE library and other Color Libraries with a single click. In addition, it allows ink film thickness calibration for offset printing, and simplifies the formulation for the reuse of ink leftovers.
At Emballage, X-Rite Pantone color experts Georges-Eric Royer and Fabio Venturotti will be conducting regular demonstrations discussing the state of color in the supply chain. Those presentations will be held at the X-Rite Pantone stand.
