Successful Graph Expo Trade Show For Mnumi

Friday 17. October 2014 - The Polish-based Mnumi company exhibited on Graph Expo trade fair held in Chicago in September. It showcased its flagship product - Mnumi management system, following very successful presentations during local events organized in Poland. Mnumi's booth at Graph Expo was very busy and full of visitors during the whole exhibition. The company started many leads and business talks with printers from around the world.

Mnumi’s presence in Chicago was supported by recently received EU grant, which was the first step for international expansion and increased sales in foreign markets. Mnumi’s system was presented in live demos during the whole trade fair and it attracted big interest from visitors. The company’s representatives shared their knowledge and experience with numerous guests relying on more than 30 successful implementations of the system in Poland. They also analyzed present situation and future needs of their possible business partners, incl. printers and ad agencies from the US, South America and Asia. “We are extremely glad that our system was perceived as a very reliable solution when compared with other systems presented in Chicago. It’s not our own conclusion, but rather the opinion of our customers who compared different offers and returned to us because Mnumi system proved to be the most flexible one. Our visitors stressed the fact that other solutions had just one developed function and many smaller modules requiring additional investments. Our system was estimated to be the most complex solution when compared with other solutions. Additionally, it can be suited for user’s individual needs” – says Piotr Pakier, Managing Director of Mnumi. The visitors were offered the quick overview of all system’s functions. In seemed that in most cases they were looking for exactly this kind of solution. Many of the visitors had had bad experiences with other vendors’ management systems or the self-made solutions. The self-made solutions usually failed due to lack of time and difficulties met during implementation. “It’s quite interesting that many customers visiting Graph Expo were very conscious of the newest technologies and the necessity for implementing them. However they looked very carefully at all available solutions. So we were very happy to see their interest in our product. In their opinion the Mnumi system is a very functional, flexible and affordable solution. We have started first negotiations concerning its sales and distribution worldwide” – continues Piotr Pakier. Mnumi system allows for managing the whole job workflow – from job order and submission (either traditionally or online), through proceeding by Customer Service Center, job production in printing and postpress departments, to packing and distribution. Moreover, it enables payment transactions management, helping in more efficient managing of the whole company. As a result, it can increase sales by adding new web-based services and products as well as improve marketing activities. It is very user-friendly, allowing for creating and archiving individual projects as well as using calendar and photo-book editors. “The benefits from using Mnumi are calculable in terms of time and money – says Piotr Pakier. – It reduces time spent on contacting customers, preparation and job estimates. It enables quick reprints, streamlines packing and delivery, eliminates errors and allows for efficient company management. These are only few of the system’s benefits which were much appreciated by our visitors in Chicago. It’s worth to mention that especially for this event we prepared completely new option for companies interested in Mnumi”. The company created a special online shop – Mnumi Shop – which includes 30-day, free testing of Mnumi system. It is a ready-to-implement, ready-to-work product for a printing house. Furthermore, a basic system can be developed and further built for each customer by adding additional parts, increasing functionality while closely cooperating with Mnumi within one of the proposed packet options. “While investing relatively small amounts of money, approx. 199 USD monthly, our customers can improve their own companies’ operations, increasing their income and market presence. This option was met with great interest from trade show visitors in Chicago so we decided to offer it to our Polish customers too. We certainly also continue offering licenses for complete systems including equipment. What is more, it is much cheaper than it has been before, as it costs 49 900 PLN (excl. VAT tax), with no user restrictions. Summarizing, we are extremely glad that Graph Expo became a huge success for us, being our first important step in a worldwide expansion. We hope that it’s a good forecast for the future” – Piotr Pakier states. In Chicago the company has started trade talks with two big customers who consider possible distribution of the Mnumi’s flagship solution. Additionally, dozens of customers signed for 30-day free system testing period. Mnumi’s representatives hope that the free trial period will finally convince the potential customers to further co-operate in one of the available options.
