WoodWing Software appoints media management expert Allied Vaughn as Authorized Solution Partner for Elvis DAM

Tuesday 16. September 2014 - With the new partnership, WoodWing and Allied Vaughn enable organizations implementing WoodWing's digital asset management solution Elvis DAM, to quickly take full advantage of their valuable digital files and to experience the business benefits of DAM. The first joint appearance of the two companies is at the Henry Stewart Conference in Chicago on September 12. The event, sponsored by Allied Vaughn, is fully dedicated to digital asset management.

“With Allied Vaughn, we have appointed an experienced and skilled ambassador for Elvis DAM,” said Shawn Duffy, Managing Director WoodWing The Americas.
With Elvis DAM, WoodWing offers a modern digital asset management solution trusted by a wide variety of customers worldwide, covering publishing, advertising and communications, retail, fashion, manufacturing, the public sector and more industries. Elvis DAM is known for its high performance and ease of use, its low cost of ownership, as well its open architecture for optimal integration and scalability. The upcoming version 5 of Elvis DAM will enable customers to manage up to 1 billion digital assets.
However, a successful digital asset management initiative requires more than just powerful, easy to use software – it also needs a defined strategy how to store, tag and manage the exploding numbers of digital assets in various formats. “The technical implementation of a DAM solution is just one side of the story. The strategic part, the implementation of the DAM process, is just as important – and it starts well before choosing the software,” said Jim Laib, CIO of Allied Vaughn. “Leveraging our comprehensive experience with DAM in demanding environments, we help organizations to identify their individual DAM requirements and to develop their DAM strategy, prior to the software purchase. After the actual installation, we make sure our clients can quickly return to focusing on their actual business, fully exploiting the benefits of Elvis DAM.”
Expert advice for long-term DAM success
Within the partnership, Allied Vaughn will provide Elvis DAM customers the right resources so that their DAM initiative will be a sustainable success, contributing to the business of the organization. “Our clients engage us to provide taxonomy consulting, project management, content development, media encoding, asset cataloging/indexing – a host of archival services that meet the preservation and repurposing needs of both digital and physical content,” Laib added. “We launch projects faster, provide optimal resourcing leveraging the right experts when needed for the job, create a cost effective plan enabling the clients to predict costs and model flexible solutions matching the client´s workflows. Elvis DAM provides the ideal platform to deliver on this promise.”
Allied Vaughn works for a variety of clients including Ford, General Motors, Chrysler, Warner Brothers, AC Delco and MGM.
