Adobe President and CEO Shantanu Narayen to Keynote GTEC 2014

GTEC, Canada’s largest government technology event, today highlights keynote speaker Shantanu Narayen, President and Chief Executive Officer of Adobe. The leader of one of the world’s largest and most diversified software companies, Narayen will focus on agile, user-friendly tech solutions and their application within the public sector to enhance digital services and increase citizen engagement.

GTEC will present a thought-provoking conference program around today’s challenges and opportunities in government service delivery, focusing on technology’s role in addressing citizens’ expectations. GTEC runs October 27-30, 2014 at the Ottawa Convention Centre.

Narayen will take the main stage Tuesday, October 28 at 10:15 am, to present “Changing Government through Digital Experiences.” At this year’s Adobe Summit, Narayen outlined the need for technology services to adapt to the demands of customers and stressed that success in the ‘realtime enterprise’ requires a unified view of the customer.

Since his appointment to CEO in December 2007, Narayen has strengthened Adobe’s culture of innovation, extending its product portfolio and global reach. Narayen is a member of the U.S. President’s Management Advisory Board, consulting on how to implement technology into business practices and federal government management.

GTEC includes a two-day expo, Canada’s largest showcase of technologies and services for advancing the business of ICT in government. The Expo Hall will welcome more than 160 companies on October 28 and 29. GTEC also hosts the coveted Distinction Awards and Gala, which recognizes excellence in public service information technology and information management in Canada.
