HEXIS wins prestigious EDP Awards

Friday 23. May 2014 - HEXIS S.A., manufacturer of self-adhesive vinyl films with headquarters in France, has won two 2014 EDP-Awards: Best self-Adhesive Substrate For Print for their HX190WG2 cast vinyl film for inkjet printing and Best self-Adhesive Substrate Non Print for their HFLEX100P Flex film. EDP (European Digital Press Association) each year selects the winners of the prestigious prize to reward the best in innovative technology within the digital signage market.

The HX190WG2 is a 50µm layered cast vinyl film and because of its particular formulation is more versatile and more “tolerant” with regard to the imperfections of the different print systems. The layered structure will ensure that ink will not affect the adhesive properties and thus maintains the excellent handling properties of the film.
The HFLEX100P is a new type of PVC-free Flex film for textile marking that boasts excellent weeding properties with enhanced elasticity on the fabric.
The EDP Association represents the publishers of 20 leading European digital printing magazines and cover 23 countries, 7 different languages and a readership exceeding 1 million graphic arts professionals.
