Celanese Announces Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) Price Increase

Thursday 20. March 2014 - Celanese Corporation (NYSE: CE), a global technology and specialty materials company, announced today that due to market conditions, including the global supply unavailability of Vinyl Acetate Monomer, it will increase the price of Ateva EVA by $0.06/pound, effective April 1, 2014, or as contracts allow.

The above price increase is in addition to the price increase previously announced on January 9, 2014, of $0.04/pound effective February 1, 2014, or as contracts allow.
