MPS and ROTOCON to Promote New EB Flexo Press at Label Summit Africa

Thursday 27. February 2014 - MPS and local representative ROTOCON will inform visitors how the new EB press can benefit their print production.

MPS today announced its participation together with its local agent ROTOCON at Label Summit Africa 2014, held March 10-11th in Cape Town, South Africa. The two-day conference and table-top exhibition will be held for the second time and is Africa’s leading package and printing event. Visitors are welcomed to MPS stand number 19 to learn about the benefits of the MPS press lines: the new EB cost-effective flexo press and the EF flexo multi-substrate press line; both ideal solutions for the African printing and converting industry.
The new EB flexo press is built with a combination of high-quality MPS printing technology, optimal performance and a strong focus on affordability. It is designed to print self-adhesive label jobs at optimal performance while reducing overall printing costs. With the new EB press, MPS offers a mid-range machine with a much lower entry investment level to accommodate printers and converters seeking this type of solution.
In addition to the EB press, the EF flexo multi-substrate press series will also be presented at Label Summit Africa. The EF press can convert a vast variety of different substrates and designs and can be equipped with a wide range of converting options, including gravure and screen. Automation packages and control systems can extend the productivity of this press even further.
Arnaud Fleuren, MPS area sales manager comments: “MPS and ROTOCON look forward to meeting with Africa printers and converters during Label Summit Africa, to exchange ideas about printing process enhancements and educate visitors about the press solutions that MPS offers. The joint technology knowledge of MPS and ROTOCON combined with years of experience in the printing and converting industry is of great value to Label Summit Africa visitors.
Together we can share information about topics ranging from prepress production, levels of automation, substrates, inks, tooling and more. MPS and ROTOCON will also provide information about MPS’s comprehensive services and local technical support.”
