Dantex to open dedicated European Demo Suites for Screen TruePress Jet L350UV digital label press

Thursday 27. February 2014 - Dantex is to open two dedicated demonstration facilities - one in the UK and the other in Germany - to showcase the Screen TruePress Jet L350UV digital label press. Managed by expert personnel and equipped with a complete digital label prepress, printing and finishing system, each facility will provide in-depth demonstration, training and label substrate testing services.

“We have experienced a fantastic and positive response to the Truepress Jet L350UV press since taking on distribution in Austria, Benelux, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Turkey, the UK and Ireland,” says Richard Danon, Dantex Chairman. “Everywhere we have showed the high quality samples we have had exceptional feedback. As a result of our confidence in the press, response from the industry and sales expectations, we are investing in two Digital Label Printing Demo Suites. We expect to open the first one at our Bradford, UK, headquarters in April, while the second one will open in Bensheim in Germany in May.”
The Screen Truepress Jet L350UV is the fastest digital label press available today, printing over 16sq.m of label stock per minute on a 350mm web and delivering photo-realistic quality, fast job turnarounds and stable output. To provide a wider colour gamut than is typical with the four-colour process, the Truepress Jet L350UV uses Screen’s proprietary high-definition UV inks. “Single-pass” opaque white ink completes the CMYK range of UV inks, further boosting colour vibrancy.  Thanks to the optional Corona treatment facility application versatility is enhanced enabling printing on transparent film and metallic foil. Printing resolutions of 600 x 600dpi combined with the very small droplet size gives sharp, well-defined images and text.
“Dantex is showing considerable commitment to the Truepress Jet L350UV with this investment,” says Brian Filler, President, Screen Europe. “Since we launched the press last year we have improved the quality still further and feedback from the market now is that the results are the best that they have ever seen from a digital inkjet press. The reaction from the industry has been hugely exciting with strong interest from companies looking to make investment in new digital print technology in 2014.”
