Collins Ink modifies transport options due to weather conditions

Wednesday 22. January 2014 - Due to the freezing temperatures we are currently experiencing, Collins is temporarily modifying how orders are shipped. This is a precautionary measure that is necessary to protect the integrity of your fluids. Effective today, January 20, 2014, Collins will:

Ground ship in a climate controlled environment, if the shipping weight is at least 100 lbs (R&L Carriers’ minimum)
Ground orders less than 100 lbs will not be shipped until the weather forecast does not present the possibility for the product to freeze during transit.
Overnight shipments can be made, but they are not guaranteed for climate control.  However, overnight shipments are usually okay because the product is constantly moving and given less time to freeze in a stagnant atmosphere. Call us to discuss.
Please be advised that Collins cannot warrant products after they freeze. There is no guarantee that the inks we ship from our plant will return to their approved chemical state when they thaw out.
