Tuesday 08. October 2013 - DSV Air & Sea, which acquired SBS Worldwide a few weeks ago, will be sending representatives to the Frankfurt Book Fair to demonstrate its on-going commitment to the publishing market.SBS Worldwide has built up a strong reputation for supply chain excellence within the book trade over the last ten years and DSV Air & Sea is keen to build on this relationship.Steve Walker, formerly SBS Worldwide Chairman, and other team members will visit the fair on 10 and 11 October. DSV Air & Sea now incorporates SBS's dedicated supply chain management software and delivery expertise for the printing industry so is well placed to discuss business with existing and potential clients at the Frankfurt Book Fair.

At this key event in the international publishing arena, DSV Air & Sea experts will be able to share how their solutions can improve stock visibility, inventory control and management reporting – which helps reduce costs – with publishers and others who need international logistics services. Steve Walker, now Director, DSV Air and Sea, explains that DSV Air & Sea can meet the supply chain needs of all publishers from major houses to small, independents, particularly helping those who are looking to export for the first time. “The Frankfurt Book Fair is the ideal opportunity to explain the advantages which being part of the DSV Group can bring. Not only is DSV the sixth largest forwarder in the world, it also operates the third largest road transport network in Europe,” he says.
“This allows us to offer a whole new range of services to the publishing market, combining the SBS expertise in working with publishers with the DSV global network and experience. Our existing customers – and potential customers – will appreciate the additional flexibility and services which the DSV Group offers in more than 75 countries.”
