3M Board Declares Quarterly Dividend

Thursday 15. August 2013 - The Board of Directors of 3M (NYSE: MMM) today declared a dividend on the company's common stock of 63.5 cents per share for the third quarter of 2013, payable Sept. 12, 2013, to shareholders of record at the close of business on Aug. 23, 2013. 3M has paid dividends to its shareholders without interruption for 97 years.

As of June 30, 2013, 3M had 683,468,043 common shares outstanding and 93,397 shareholders of record.
