Westpak Offers Full ASTM D3330 Testing for Tapes and Films with New 90-degree Peel Tester

Wednesday 07. August 2013 - Westpak's Material Analysis Division is pleased to announce the capability of conducting 90 degree peel adhesion testing. Using a customized test apparatus, the peel adhesion strength of tape or a similar sample can be measured while being separated at a constant 90 degree angle throughout the length of the sample.

With the addition of this new piece of equipment, Westpak, Inc. now has the capability of conducting testing using all six test methods in the industry peel adhesion test standard ASTM D3330/D3330M-04 (2010).
“We offer numerous material tests at Westpak and are constantly expanding our capabilities. Several of our long-term clients requested 90 degree peel tests therefore we responded. We’re happy to accommodate their testing requirements with this new piece of equipment,” says Edmund Tang, Division Manager.
