NELA integrates Barenschee Pre Press Systems

Tuesday 30. July 2013 - As of today, NELA Brüder Neumeister GmbH in the context of an asset deal inherits certain properties of Barenschee Systemtechnik GmbH. The asset deal replaces the exclusive license agreement that was ratified May 2nd, 2013.

On April 30, 2013 already, operations had been shut down at Barenschee Systemtechnik GmbH in Lüneburg (Northern Germany). By an agreement with the liquidator on May 2nd, 2013, NELA had gained comprehensive rights to the company’s technical know-how. Numerous former Barenschee customers have since then contacted NELA for technical service and information. In this context, the engagement of the former Barenschee Service Manager, Mr. Detlef Brandes, and other software and operation planning staff has been very beneficial.
The license agreement is now replaced by the purchase of the company’s technical and commercial know-how, in the context of which NELA has assumed any and all rights on engineering data including BOMs and spare parts lists, software source codes, and customer databases. The acquisition, as well as the integration of staff and expertise, guarantees that customers profit from continued supply with spare parts and technical support, or even the upgrade of existing systems. The global NELA service network, and particularly Mr. Brandes as NELA’s Project Manager System Integration, will be happy to respond to any request regarding maintenance, system modifications or enhancements. Under the roof of the NELA family, support is also provided for K&F, 2B, M+A, Strobbe, Western Lithotech, Stoesser, and Ternes register punching and bending systems. These companies have been integrated into the NELA group within the past 12 years through acquisition or other agreements.
