Cooley Group Introduces Sustainable Signage Solutions to European Market at FESPA 2013 in London

Friday 21. June 2013 - Global Collaboration with HP Provides Commercial Graphic Customers

High-Quality Non-PVC Banner and Signage Media Solutions
Cooley Group, a worldwide leader in the development and manufacture of banner and signage substrates and other high-performance fabric solutions, today announced its plan to showcase several new innovative customer solutions at the 2013 FESPA show, taking place June 25-29 at the ExCel London Exhibition Centre. Among Cooley’s revolutionary innovations is Enviroflex PE, the material used to wrap London’s iconic 2012 Olympic Stadium – the most sustainable Olympic Games in history.
The exhibition of Cooley’s newest innovations comes on the heels of a collaboration with HP, which enables Cooley to develop, manufacture, and distribute globally its recyclable, non-PVC banner solutions utilizing ColorPRO Technology for use with HP Latex and UV Inks. Solutions with the ColorPRO designation perform to a strict set of specifications to meet industry-leading performance and sustainability standards.
“Cooley’s newest innovations combined with our collaborative relationship with HP allows us to offer customers worldwide higher-quality print media solutions with a substantially lower environmental impact,” said Bryan Rose, Vice President and General Manager of Cooley Commercial Graphics. “Driven by the desire to develop the next generation of sustainable print media solutions, this collaboration positions our collective innovations to deliver banner and signage printing solutions that focus on sustainability without compromising performance.”
Cooley’s award-winning, recyclable products are optimized to provide customers with higher quality and enhanced print performance equal to vinyl products but with a lower environmental impact than traditional PVC materials.
Among the solutions Cooley Group will feature at FESPA will be:
Enviroflex PE with ColorPRO Technology for Latex (initially in 2.64 and 3.2 meters); front-lit banner and double-sided BO have an expected availability of Fall 2013.
Enviroflex PE for UV (in widths up to five meters); front-lit and backlit have expected availability of late Summer 2013.
ColorPRO products will be available globally from Cooley Group’s Commercial Graphics division.
