DUPLO USA PROFILES IN-PLANT AND COMMERCIAL PRINTERS IN “HOW DO YOU USE YOUR DUPLO?” VIDEO SERIES

Thursday 06. June 2013 - Duplo USA Corporation, a leading manufacturer of digital print finishing equipment, has introduced a new video series called "How Do You Use Your Duplo?" to profile in-plant and commercial print providers throughout the country and their finishing process using Duplo solutions.

The series can be watched on the Resources page at www.duplousa.com and on YouTube at www.youtube.com/DuploUSA.
Seventeen print providers from Texas, southern California, and Chicago have been profiled to date. In the short videos, customers provide a brief tour of their operation and discuss the products they offer and how their Duplo equipment has contributed to their business.
Besides attesting to the benefits of digital print finishing, the series also provides a better understanding of how printers have increased their efficiency and profitability by bringing finishing in-house, and in some cases, how offset and digital print work together to serve their customer demands.
Some of the featured companies include:
Harte Hanks in Fort Worth, TX
“We’ve been able to bring in jobs that we outsourced before. Our revenues have come up. We’re actually bidding on jobs that we never would have had an opportunity to bid on or been able to obtain.”
– Joe Ewers, vice president of business development at Harte Hanks
Methodist Healthcare in San Antonio, TX
“We’re able to turn around documents for our clients very quickly. Prior to that, we were having to send things out to a third party vendor for additional bindery. Since we’ve had the Duplo DC-645 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser, we can do it in-house, we can do it on time, and we can do it under budget.”
– Michael Schaefer, director of the Methodist Healthcare Print Center
Azusa Pacific University, Azusa, CA
“We’re currently 99% Duplo-operated. Since we acquired the DFS-3500 Full-Bleed Bookletmaking System, we’ve been able to turn jobs around within a few hours where before it was taking us anywhere from 1-2 weeks to do them manually.”
– Donna Rutherford, senior manager of Duplicating Services and Evoke at
Azusa Pacific University
