ColorMix acquires Vutek R3225 at Gulf Print & Pack

Thursday 25. April 2013 - Saga Digital is proud to announce the installation of an EFI wide format printer, the R3225 at its client, and veteran Vutek user, ColorMix LLC in Dubai.

ColorMix is a prominent printer in Dubai, opened its doors back in 2005 with a Vutek 3360SC and after many years and many additional printers, ColorMix decided to acquire the new model of R3225.
The R3225 is a sturdy platform similar to its siblings of models from EFI Vutek. Using sturdy construction, giving the feel of a much more pricey printer, with a remarkable output, while using CMYK ink-set.
The EFI R3225 3.2 meter, roll-to-roll UV printer delivers near photographic image quality at production-level speeds. It is the ideal solution for a production environment, franchise shop or commercial printer that wants to capture premium signage applications, or needs extra capacity for specialty and overflow jobs. It prints on a wider range of flexible and lower cost substrates, while using less ink and energy for a low total cost of ownership that helps increase your profit potential.
ColorMix decided to follow in the initiative that Dubai has taken to a greener community. The R3225 uses UV ink which emits low VOCs, minimizes energy usage, and generates little heat, in order to offer a greener print solution.
The printer resolution is remarkable, while able to print on signage, banners, POP as well as fleet graphics.
