Baumann Global Packaging Group to supply cartoning machines to Ice Cream Manufacturer in Dubai (UAE)

Tuesday 19. March 2013 - BAUMANN has successfully secured a contract for the supply of one large high speed packaging system for an Ice Cream producer in Dubai, one of the most advanced projects currently underway in the country.

The scope includes the design, manufacture, testing, packaging, installation supervision and commissioning of one large high speed MKH-4 cartoning line with complete in feed systems for continuous packing of mono and multipack products. The high speed cartoner produce packs in the range of 180 PPM.Through this supply of high efficiency packing systems and their superior unique leading packaging technology, Baumann contributes to the reduction of manual labour and overall life cycle cost of times between maintenance while maintaining the productivity of the equipment and longer operating shifts.
As the project location is close to Baumann’s new Indonesian Service Centre in Surabaya, the reliability of its operations such as servicing, reconditioning and spare parts availability is ensured with our round-the-clock services. This order demonstrates the capability that Baumann Packaging Systems brings to the packaging industry as an Equipment Manufacturer  OEM). Whilst the management of end of line packaging is important for maintaining plant productivity as well as ensuring a safe working environment, it is the efficient use of the system needed to pack which is key to ensuring the profitability of the plant operation. This is where the Baumann value add proposition in terms of the overall life cycle cost of the equipment comes into play. The packaging system for the project will be assembled and tested at Baumann’ state of-the-art facility in Sydney, Australia, with commissioning of the line scheduled in July 2013
