Over the past 12 months, OKI has added to its SMB offering with a series of products which have been well-received by micro, small and medium sized business users. As a result, OKI has increased market share, reinforcing the company’s reputation for its customer-centric approach in providing businesses with reliable, high-quality and cost-effective print solutions. “Our new portfolio of A4, colour MFPs combine enterprise-class functionality, security and flexibility with comprehensive document workflow support,” confirms Harry Takahashi, managing director, OKI Europe Ltd. “This will deliver significant workflow efficiencies and cost savings, as organisations improve the way documents are handled, managed and processed.”
The MC700 Series from OKI, at the heart of business productivity
The MC700 Series comes with an open platform that enables customisation of the user interface in order to integrate all document-related tasks seamlessly into the organisation’s enterprise document workflow. Benefits include lower costs, together with improved productivity and efficiencies, as the business is able to move from a manual paper-based workflow to automated digital flow.
In addition, these devices include software for effective device management tasks such as remote diagnostics, document output controls including print tracking and authentication and document retrieval and collaboration.
“Different organisations have diverse priorities,” says Takahashi. “Some will focus on productivity and efficiency gains, whilst others will look to identify and control print usage or look for an environmentally-friendly solution with low running and maintenance costs. In each case, OKI’s highly flexible range of colour MFPs can be tailored to meet all these differing demands.”
High performance, unrivalled flexibility
The MC700 Series includes the following models:
MC760, MC770 and MC780 which are available in 2 variants – the standard dn model and the dfn model which comes with an internal finisher for automated collating and stapling of documents. An optional convenience stapler is also available to facilitate post production finishing. All models come with a 23cm, colour, backlit, LCD touch screen with an intuitive, easy to use control panel.
The MC700 Series delivers print speeds of up to 40ppm and both the scanner and the print engine are based on OKI’s LED technology. Other enterprise-class functionality includes duplex printing and scanning, flexible scan destinations and formats and large capacity 160GB hard drive as standard. These eco-friendly MFPs have advanced security features including secure PIN printing, data encryption and disk wiping and a secure print with card release option. The advanced ergonomic design enables easy access to consumables and offers a wide variety of configurations, including internal finisher, optional paper trays for flexible paper capacity and paper feed options.
“In every aspect of the MC700 Series design, our ‘no compromise’ approach has been to offer customers ultra-high productivity with the greatest possible flexibility, allowing our customers to easily configure their print solutions in a way which precisely meets their business needs,” confirms Takahashi.
