Tuesday 04. December 2012 - Meet all of your converting needs with Roland's latest VersaCONVERT R-6 multi-function flatbed cutting router.

This flexible, high performing machine is specifically designed for panel cutting, ideal for use in the sign, display and packaging industries. Easy to use and incredibly versatile, the VersaCONVERT is in its element when finishing flexible, semi-rigid and rigid products such as Forex, MDF, PETG, PMMA, reboard, cardboard, acrylic and foamed sandwich materials.
It is a truly reliable machine that can cut – both die cutting and kiss cutting, shape, mill and crease popular materials. VersaCONVERT R-6 supports a range of different cutting options – a fixed knife, an oscillating knife, a router and a creasing unit enabling a multitude of applications. It cuts materials up to 30mm with its oscillating knife and up to 25mm with its router, supporting materials in excess of the 12mm supported by Roland’s VersaUV LEJ-640.
Finishes what the LEJ started
VersaCONVERT R-6 sits perfectly alongside Roland’s VersaUV LEJ-640 – our hybrid roll to roll and flatbed UV curing 64″ wide printer, as their work areas (1600mm x 1970mm) are a perfect match. This makes the R-6 ideally suited to the production of many different applications in the packaging, sign making, promotion and display markets.

Equipped with a camera to automatically detect cutting marks and reduce set up times (also aligns to cutting paths on the LEJ’s printed images)
Includes a vacuum bed as standard to hold materials and quickly
As with all Roland machines, an intuitive, easy to use software is included in the box
Has an optional Z zero setting tool to quickly set the cutting depth and avoid operator errors, saving tooling and reprint costs.
Automatically adjusts the distance between the cutting head and the material to reduce errors and set up times
