Mark Bonacorso, a passionate industry leader, passes unexpectedly

Tuesday 04. December 2012 - The print industry lost a long-time member and supporter on November 30 with the unexpected passing of Mark Bonacorso, President of PR and marketing firm MediaINK. He was 58.

Mark was known and respected as an innovative, creative marketing and PR professional who brought a realistic, practical perspective to how clients should communicate their messages. A former graphic designer who understood the combined power of both words and images, one of Mark’s greatest strengths was the ability to create communications strategies that helped his clients stand out in a crowded marketplace.
Mark spend over twenty years in high technology marketing communications and he has had broad experience in advertising art direction, graphic design, print production, project management, event management and press and analyst relations.
Bonacorso’s corporate experience included senior positions in engineering workstation, higher education, networking, business productivity software, Internet software, database, digital printing and home video entertainment markets. Most recently Bonacorso served as director of corporate marketing at WebPrint and has held senior positions with Informix, Atari, Crescendo Communications (now part of Cisco Systems), iReady Corporation, liveMetro.com, and Sun Microsystems. Bonacorso also sits on the board of directors for Xplor International as chairman.
Mark leaves his beloved wife Molly Passmore and stepson Pierce. Funeral services will be private but industry friends and colleagues will be holding a celebration of Mark’s life at the Xplor conference in April. In the meantime, donations in Mark’s memory may be made through http://www.gofundme.com/1m6gjw .
And Mark would not approve of this press release because it is too long and contains more than two quotes. But sometimes two quotes just aren’t enough.
