RotoMetrics Appoints European Managing Director

Tuesday 12. June 2012 - RotoMetrics announced the appointment of Dr. Peter Emerson as Managing Director, RotoMetrics Europe. Dr. Emerson will report to the company's President & Chief Executive Officer and will have responsibility for all aspects of the firm's European operations.

“Peter Emerson comes to Rotometrics with a deep European business leadership background,” stated Robert Spiller, RotoMetrics President & Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Emerson was most recently Managing Director for Doncasters Centrifugal Castings, a precision manufacturer of engineered components. Prior to that, he held the role of Chief Operating Officer for FOSROC, a $400 million worldwide construction chemicals manufacturer. Dr. Emerson’s prior experience in the Tag & Label industry includes serving as Managing Director of base materials producer Smith & McLaurin, Ltd. as well as senior research and technology roles with Avery Dennison’s UK base materials division. Peter Emerson earned a PhD in Physical and Organic Chemistry from the University of Wales. He will take up his new position on June 11th, 2012 and will be based at the company’s Aldridge, UK site
