Single-Step Color Printing for MX1000 & MX2000 Systems

Wednesday 05. October 2011 - Datacard Group is pleased to announce the release of Single-Step Color Printing for the Datacard MX1000 and MX2000 card issuance systems.

It is ideal for card issuers with mid-volume card programs that need to print photos, logos and other color images on identification or financial cards. This technology utilizes dye diffusion thermal transfer (D2T2) technology to print high-quality, 300dpi card images and photos directly on the card at speeds up to 900 cards per hour. It provides high quality, near edge-to-edge print coverage and enhanced system performance at a cost effective price. Single-step color printing is designed to work exclusively with patented Datacard Certified Supplies featuring Intelligent Supplies Technology.
