Totally Green Delivers ORCA Green Machine to GSA Regional Office in Washington, D.C.

Monday 09. May 2011 - ORCA Green Machine to Be Demonstrated at GSA Training Conference & Expo 2011 on May 10-11

Totally Green, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: TLGN), a pioneer in organic food processing systems and compostable packaging alternatives, has installed its revolutionary ORCA Green Machine at the U.S. General Services Administration’s (GSA) Regional Office Building in Washington, D.C.
The GSA purchased the ORCA Green Machine to establish an on-site rapid food composting solution for the cafeteria located within the 850,000 square foot building located at 7th and Avenue D. The cafeteria serves more than 1,000 meals per day to GSA employees and guests. This produces thousands of pounds of organic wastes which were previously being disposed of through traditional methods.
“Following the announcement of our first U.S. Coast Guard installation earlier this week, we see the GSA adoption of our ORCA technology as yet another tremendous opportunity to penetrate the federal market,” stated Rob Phillips, president of Totally Green.
“Since our initial GSA purchase order, the machine has been presented to more than 30 GSA building managers,” continued Phillips. “We believe they understand the value proposition of our ORCA Green Machine and how it supports their green initiatives. We look forward to building on this endorsement of our product as we present at their annual conference next week.”
More than 300,000 federal workers in the Washington, D.C. area count on GSA staff to provide office space and related services. GSA manages approximately 95.6 million rentable square feet of space in 190 federally-owned buildings, including 70 historic buildings (seven national landmarks), and 500 leased buildings.
The ORCA Green Machine will be featured by Totally Green at the GSA Training Conference and Expo 2011 to be held in San Diego, California on May 10-11. Total Green’s head of sales of the ORCA Green Division, Ryan Casey, will demonstrate the ORCA technology at booth #1524.
