VERTIS COMMUNICATIONS TEAMS WITH CAPTAIN D’S TO SERVE UP PROMOTIONAL OFFERS AND SAVINGS THROUGH ADVERTISING INSERTS, DIRECT MARKETING AND LOGISTICS

Thursday 05. May 2011 - New Contract Extends Vertis’ Quick Service Restaurant Portfolio

Vertis Communications, a results-driven marketing communications company that delivers inventive advertising, direct marketing and interactive solutions to prominent brands across North America, announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Captain D’s, a leader in the quick service restaurant segment and affiliate of Sun Capital Partners, to deliver targeted promotional messages to its guests through creative and engaging direct marketing programs. Vertis will also enhance the ROI of Captain D’s outreach with sophisticated logistics support that ensures timely in- home delivery and maximized postal savings.
Under the new two-year agreement, Vertis will leverage its expertise in providing marketing communications support to quick service restaurants to promote the more than 500 Captain D’s locations in 25 states. Vertis will help Captain D’s grab consumer attention and drive response rates through the production and delivery of innovative designs, from eye catching die cuts to tri-folds for takeout menus and nutrition guides, to four-page free standing inserts and jumbo postcards.

Contracts with additional Quick Service Restaurant brands owned by Sun Capital Partners are expected to be formalized with Vertis over the next 12 months.
