Four Canon products honored with prestigious Technical Image Press Association awards

Four Canon products were selected for “Best Product 2011” awards in Europe by the prestigious Technical Image Press Association (TIPA), representing 29 photography and imaging magazines across 14 European countries. The four award-winning Canon products are: the EOS 600D digital SLR camera, the PowerShot SX230 HS compact digital camera, the EF70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM telephoto zoom lens, and the PIXMA MG8150 multifunction inkjet printer.

Gordon L. Jones, Jr., a former director and senior executive of Hearst Corporation, died April 20, 2011, at home in New Canaan, Conn., after a long illness. He was 85.
