INCA DIGITAL WINS AT CAMBRIDGE NEWS BUSINESS AWARDS

Wednesday 06. April 2011 - Takes Barclays Corporate Award

Inca Digital snapped up the top prize in the Barclays Corporate Award section of the 18th Cambridge News Business Excellence Awards recently. The award was for companies that could demonstrate their market strength in the current economic climate, whether through adaptability, good turnover and profitability, strong market share or diversification into new markets.
Congratulating Inca Digital on the award, Peter Abel, Head of Cambridgeshire, Barclays Corporate, said: “I am delighted that Inca Digital won the Barclays Corporate Award at the Cambridge News Business Awards. The company has worked extremely hard to move the business forward and has successfully diversified into new markets”.
Dr Linda Bell, Inca Digital’s CEO, accepted the award on behalf of the company at the dinner in the Great Hall at King’s College, Cambridge. Speaking after the event Dr Bell said; “The past two years have seen Inca Digital stay ahead of the curve despite tough trading conditions. This award is a testament to the whole team, and the efforts made during that time to develop and grow the company.”
We know from our contact with many businesses across Cambridgeshire, said Barclays Bank, that strong leadership, innovation, resilience and sheer determination are the key factors that have continued to drive the success of companies across the county despite the current climate. Companies such as these and the key people who run them should receive the highest accolades.
