Mr Lorenzo Delorenzi becomes CEO at VGP

Tuesday 08. February 2011 - Mr Philippe de Somer and Mr Frederic de Somer, resp. President and Managing Director of the Van Genechten Group, are pleased to announce that Mr Lorenzo Delorenzi (48) becomes Chief Executive Officer of Van Genechten Packaging as of February 1st.

His predecessor Mr Herbert Noichl has been mandated as non-executive Director on the Supervisory Board.

Mr Delorenzi – previously Executive Board Member of Borealis in Vienna – is Belgian educated and has a wide international experience in the FMCG and packaging industry. He held various management positions at Tetra Pak, Du Pont de Nemours, Unilever and A.C. Nielsen. He combines a strong sales & marketing background with a sound experience in running manufacturing sites.
