REMCON Plastics Launches Aggressive 5 year Plan by Hiring New National Sales and Marketing Professional
Monday 31. January 2011 - Rotational molder REMCON Plastics, Inc. affirmed their commitment to the company's strategic growth when they introduced Brian Martin as their new Director of Sales and Marketing last summer.
The announcement of Brian’s addition to their management team comes on the heels of REMCON’s industry-recognized breakthroughs and the introduction of their new Solutions Optimization Process geared to custom molding customers.
Brian graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree in 1985 from the US Military Academy, West Point, NY. He is a combat veteran who led a field artillery unit during Desert Storm in 1990-91. In 2005 he earned his MBA from Wilmington College.
He specializes in building long-term relationships with OEMs, custom products customers, distributors and contract manufacturers, which is what makes him such a great fit for REMCON’s strategic plan.

Martin’s resume speaks for itself:
— National Account Manager at Nucor Corporation’s American Buildings
Company in Eufaula, AL, a $350 million custom-engineered metal building
manufacturer.
— National Sales Manager at Saint-Gobain / CertainTeed Corporation in
Valley Forge, PA. P&L responsibility for $185 million annual sales while
developing national big box store relationships.
— Division General Manager at Handy & Harman in Middlesex, NJ, with
medical device product applications and international sales management
responsibilities prior to that.
Brian will continue as an adjunct instructor at Wilmington University Graduate School of Business. He teaches operations management, project management and strategic planning.
