Packaging Solutions Holdings Names Tim French as Chief Operating Officer

Tuesday 04. January 2011 - Packaging Solutions Holdings, Inc. announced today that it has named Tim French as Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. Packaging Solutions Holdings was founded by Wellspring Capital Management and industry veteran Harold Bevis, who together are creating a Top 10 packaging company focused on value-added packaging for the food, medical and consumer markets.

Mr. French has more than 25 years of experience in the packaging industry, ten of them as a Chief Operating Officer. As Vice President and General Manager at Pliant Corporation, he was responsible for a $300 million division, overseeing multiple plants in a number of countries, and a 30-person sales team. Before Pliant Corporation, Mr. French was President and Chief Executive Officer of a Canadian-based manufacturing company, Snowbear Limited; and, before that was President and Chief Operating Officer of PCL Packaging a polyethylene-based packaging company with operations in both Canada and the U.S. He began his career as a plant manager at Uniplast Industries, another Canadian packaging firm.
Harold Bevis, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Packaging Solutions Holdings, said, “We are thrilled to add depth to our management team with the addition of Tim as Chief Operating Officer.
