Arden Software Announces New Subsidiaries in Germany and Scandinavia
Friday 26. November 2010 - Following the success of its Arden Software North America subsidiary, Impact packaging design software developer, UK-based Arden Software, announces the establishment of two new subsidiaries in Europe.
The formation of Arden Software GmbH and Arden Software A/S is further evidence of Arden Software’s ongoing commitment to taking its message directly to the industry through the expansion of its own sales and service infrastructure for a rapidly growing user base, which includes many of the world’s major packaging producers and die makers.
Since it was established in 1988, the sales and service of Arden Software’s design products has been provided in certain territories by carefully selected independent partners. To date, in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and a number of other European countries, this role has been successfully performed by Lasercomb GmbH, and in the Nordic and Baltic countries by IPD Software A/S.
However, a series of friendly discussions between all parties have resulted in agreement that Impact sales and service in these territories will now be available from the newly established Arden Software subsidiaries, Arden Software Germany and Arden Software Scandinavia. Continuity of service is assured for those customers who purchased Impact from Lasercomb (who will continue to sell Impact as an OEM partner), and IPD Software (whose Managing Director, Tom Christiansen, is retiring), as the personnel at the Arden Software subsidiaries include former employees of both companies.
Operating from offices in Kirchheim unter Teck, Germany and Fredericia, Denmark respectively, Arden Software Germany and Arden Software Scandinavia will offer a full and comprehensive range of sales and services for Impact and the other products in Arden Software’s rapidly expanding portfolio, including WEBcnx and Enterprise.
Martin Poynter, Arden Software Managing Director said, “As well as the need to implement a more customer-oriented infrastructure within our business model, the main catalyst behind these changes has been the packaging industry’s overwhelmingly positive response to our unique design workflow management and enterprise solutions.”
Mr. Poynter continues; “We are confident that these developments will not only benefit Impact users in Europe, but also worldwide, because as part of an expanding Global Support Network, Arden Software Germany and Arden Software Scandinavia will extend the wealth of Arden Software resources, product knowledge, and expertise, available to them.”
