TOK to Transfer its Printing Material Business to Kodak
Monday 22. November 2010 - TOKYO OHKA KOGYO CO., LTD. (headquarters: Nakahara-ku, Kawasaki-shi, Kanagawa-ken, Japan; president: Yoichi Nakamura; hereafter, TOK) would like to announce that on November 19, 2010, the board of directors passed a resolution to transfer the companys printing material (relief plate) business to Eastman Kodak Company. (Japan headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; hereafter, Kodak).
TOK and Kodak reached an agreement on November 19, 2010 that TOK will transfer substantially all its printing material (relief plate) business to Kodak.
Both TOK and Kodak are delighted with this agreement as this transfer will contribute to the growth of the two companies in future.
As part of the companys printing material (relief plate) business, TOK produces and markets flexography, letterpress, Braille, molding plate products, and other products. TOKs Yamanashi Plant, in which printing materials (relief plates) are produced, will also be transferred to Kodak.
