Ticketmedia Reaches Pinnacle of Quality Management Standards with the ISO 9001

Wednesday 03. November 2010 - Internationally recognised accreditation drives growth for UK's leading ticket advertising firm

TICKETMEDIA, the company responsible for supplying and printing adverts on the back of the nation’s bus and tube tickets, has been awarded the highly regarded ISO 9001 certificate, the internationally recognised standard for the quality management of businesses.
Following a rigorous six-month inspection by examiners from ISOQAR, the Hove-based print firm was able to demonstrate full accountability across its entire operating systems. ISOQAR is regulated by UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service), the sole national accreditation body that is recognised by the Government.
“This is a fantastic achievement for everyone at Ticketmedia,” said managing director Jeremy Burbidge. “We have always strived to maintain the level of exacting standards stipulated by the ISO 9001certificate but we knew that we needed to acquire official recognition in order to satisfy the demands of bigger businesses that look for accreditation in their suppliers.
“With the support of Sussex Enterprise, which helped us through the process, we were able to demonstrate to ISOQAR that we were deserving of accreditation and can now prove to current and future customers our commitment to quality, efficiency and accountability.”
Ticketmedia’s innovative approach to developing the bespoke processes and technology behind the success of using transport tickets as a unique advertising medium has been recognised by the Growing Business Awards. Ticketmedia is a finalist in the Technology & Innovation category, winners to be announced at the event on 25 November.
