NEOLT launches new print finishing products

Friday 29. October 2010 - Specialist manufacturer of digital large-format printing and print finishing equipment NEOLT launched two new important print finishing products at the recent Viscom Milan trade show.

The Neolam PE is Neolt’s new entry-level solution for cold laminating and mounting. Available in sizes 1100, 1400 and 1650 mm, this machine features a very easy to use pneumatic system to adjust the nip opening and upper roll pressure. The maximum thickness the Neolam PE can handle is 30 mm (1,18″) and its running speed is 4 m per minute. Optional add-ons are, among other items, an electric roll holder with friction and an electric rear take-up system, allowing the operator to create a productive roll-to-roll laminating workflow.
Another novelty at Neolt’s presentation in Milan was the new version of the Electro Textile Super Trim. This top-of-the-line trimmer now enables the user to create a semi-automatic cutting workflow through operator-defined positioning and trimming programs. Up to twenty programs may be defined to meet different requirements and materials. The motorized rotary blade of the trimmer may be heated in order to cut natural and synthetic fabrics and to seal them at the same time to avoid fraying. With the heat switched off, the Electro Textile Super Trim cuts any other flexible substrate up to a maximum thickness of 8 mm. This trimmer is available in four different widths: 165, 280, 340 and 520 cm.
Like all other Neolt equipment, the Neolam PE and the Electro Textile Super Trim are entirely designed and built at Neolt’s own production facilities near Bergamo, Italy.
