Pacific Magazines selects elvis DAM

Friday 22. October 2010 - Nr. 1 in australian magazine publishing will implement elvis to manage digital assets supporting magazine production

Pacific Magazines, the highly succesful publishing arm of Australia’s largest television network, “the Seven Network”, has selected elvis for the management of digital assets during production, as well as for archiving of all produced digital content.
elvis will serve as primary source for digital content for users in the picture desk, layout and editorial departments. Through the built-in integration with WoodWing Enterprise, all produced layouts and its components will be automatically archived in elvis.
“We’ve been looking at investing in a DAM for years and have seen everything that’s out there”, Fraser Crozier, Business Liaison Manager at Pacific Magazines, states. “elvis definitely stands out in its multimedia capabilities and user intuitiveness.” “The fact that elvis also automatically archives our produced content is an added bonus that makes it so unique.”
“We’ve known Pacific Magazines for quite some time, and we’ve always received great feedback on our solution from them”, says Bastiaan Born, Commercial Director at dutchsoftware.com. “To see them joining the quickly growing elvis user base is great for us, and we promise it will be great for them.”
elvis 2.5 offers the most powerful media search engine in the DAM market today and has an acclaimed intuitive user interface. On top of that elvis 2.5 introduces a new API with open source HTML5 and AIR sample clients. These will allow business partners and customers to create and customize their own syndication site, video portal, mobile viewer and more.
