Rockwell Automation, Customers, Partners to Gather in Orlando for 19th Annual Automation Fair Event
Tuesday 19. October 2010 - Manufacturing business leaders, industry analysts and more than 100 technology and service providers from around the globe will meet in Orlando, Fla., at the Orange County Convention Center on Nov. 3 and 4 where Rockwell Automation will host its 19th annual Automation Fair event. R
ockwell Automation spokespeople will join the companys partners and customers to share their ideas and experiences in optimizing plants, improving machine performance and manufacturing products in a more sustainable manner.
“Automation Fair is the ultimate destination for manufacturers to discover innovative ways to make their organizations more competitive while learning more about smart, safe and sustainable manufacturing,” said Keith Nosbusch, chairman and CEO, Rockwell Automation. “Our goal is to help you make the most of your investment in automation and information technology.”
The educational event will include a variety of hands-on labs, workshops, technical sessions and exhibits featuring the latest manufacturing trends and automation solutions. Industry forums will give attendees the opportunity to learn from specialists and customers about energy and environment, global machine builders, life sciences, oil and gas, pulp and paper, and water wastewater.
In addition to the Automation Fair event attended by thousands of global customers, Rockwell Automation will bring together industry journalists and analysts from around the world on Nov.2 for Manufacturing Perspectives, a media event where the leading topics in manufacturing technology and automation are discussed.
Andrew McAfee, author and Harvard Business School professor, will deliver the keynote presentation titled, “Enterprise 2.0 Meets Manufacturing 2.0.” McAfee will explore concepts from his book, Enterprise 2.0, including the powerful impact of IT on business performance, structure and competitiveness.
