Océ and Sefas Innovation join forces to present ground breaking TransPromo applications

Friday 21. May 2010 - As a demonstration of their close partnership, Océ and Sefas will show an end to end application combining their technologies at IPEX 18th - 25th May 2010.

Océ, an international leader in digital document management and delivery, and Sefas Innovation a world leader in document output management software, will show at IPEX an application combining their technologies for the on-demand creation of a personalized policy documents along with multi-channel output capabilities.
The OpenPrint software suite from Sefas Innovation, is a stand alone product which also is the base-technology for Océ PRISMAdesigner, released at IPEX 2010. This software suite will be embedded in a solution portal to deliver a composite application merging various documents on the fly – including the re-engineering of legacy documents. This TransPromo application with multi channel delivery capabilities will seamlessly be passed onto Océ PRISMAproduction to manage the printing and fulfillment.
The application is on display at the Sefas booth. Information from visitors will be captured and used to create an on-demand personalized policy document for that visitor. The output is generated in multiple output channels (print, email, SMS). The print output (color AFP file) is sent from the Sefas booth to the Océ software booth. Here it will be queued in PRISMAproduction and be viewed with TrueProof. The Océ PRISMAproduction client on the Sefas booth will show the print file queued for printing (after it has been sent from Open Print Producer).
“This implementation demonstrates our capability to deliver an end-to-end solution and is the first tangible manifestation of the recently announced partnership between Sefas and Océ” said Crit Driessen, Vice President Product Marketing & Strategy at Océ Printing Systems. “It further positions Océ as a global player delivering industrial solutions for the rapidly changing TransPromo and Transactional Printing requirements” adds Crit Driessen.
This is just one example of the integrated end-to-end solutions possible. “We wanted to show that by combining the right technologies, TransPromo and multi channel delivery in a demanding color environment can be done quickly and easily” said Jean-Philippe Sarraut, Chairman and CEO of Sefas Innovation. And Océ was the ideal partner to do that”.
