Ricoh UK’s Business Driver Programme goes live!

Friday 14. May 2010 - Ricoh’s recently announced Business Driver Programme is now officially available to all UK customers. The Programme offers Ricoh UK’s production print customers a number of specifically developed tools and services to help them enhance their business development processes and provide a more strategic approach to print.

It’s this continued investment in, and commitment to, customer service, that sees Ricoh becoming the preferred digital print partner of choice. Ricoh UK customers visiting Ipex, can take advantage of the new Programme by signing up to it at the Ricoh stand D130/Hall 12.

Ricoh’s Business Driver Programme includes a combination of consultancy with an extranet that provides unique access to the company’s web-to-print services, white papers, e-learning, consulting services and Ricoh Professional Services Team. The Programme also offers customers the opportunity to free-trial services such as its entry level NowPrint ASAP, web-to-print solution. In addition, it provides access to a range of services and information that meet the needs of specific types of operation, and different types of job functions; for example, business owner, senior manager, marketing, operations and design professionals. The UK site also offers a range of local information such as case studies and news, along with details of the latest industry trends and technologies, which is contributed by Ricoh and leading independent industry experts.

Stephen Palmer, Director, Production Print, Ricoh UK comments: “At Ricoh we understand the unique needs of the production print industry and our customers, and we also recognise the need for strong partnerships. We pride ourselves in our ability to provide excellent services and support, which in turn helps our customers in their drive to increase profitability and grow their digital print businesses. Through the Business Driver Programme, we have enhanced our excellent customer support and services with other tangible business tools, such as access to independent consultancy and training through our industry partners. We see digital print as a growth sector and by supporting our customers’ business development requirements, we can help influence the variety of digital print products offered and demonstrate that digital print is becoming a favoured choice for many.”

Through its Business Driver Programme, Ricoh can track, in real-time, the resources its customers are finding most valuable and use the information to plan future uploads to ensure the portal continues to add significant value. Stephen adds: It’s not just about providing information, it’s about listening to our customers to further develop the Business Driver Programme. It will continue to grow and we look forward to announcing additional services in time.”

Stephen concludes: “Essentially, the Business Driver Programme is about helping the customer with the transition from being a print service provider to a value-added solutions provider, making our customers even more valuable to their own. We also want to learn from our customers by taking on board their comments and feeding these back into our innovation strategies, and it’s this approach which we believe sets us apart from the competition.”
