SCREEN DEMONSTRATES ITS EQUIOSNET CONNECTIVITY AND WELCOMES PARTNERS TO ITS PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM

Wednesday 05. May 2010 - Exciting opportunities lie ahead as Screen prepares to partner with like-minded companies and presents its universal workflow at the Ipex Print Automation Pavilion

Screen will present its EQUIOSNET single universal production environment as part of its involvement in the CIP4 Print Automation Pavilion in Hall 7 at Ipex, where advancements in print automation will be highlighted.

For end-to-end automation to be introduced, it is necessary to have the ability to automatically link across vendor boundaries. Therefore Screen will begin licensing its imposition function of its EQUIOSNET universal workflow to vendors of MIS, web-to-print and other relevant products as part of its EQUIOSNET Partnership Program.

The EQUIOSNET environment encompasses a range of software solutions to provide a highly-optimised and automated workflow driving multiple CTP and print on demand devices. The EQUIOSNET Partnership Program is a workflow collaboration scheme between Screen and a wide range of specialist graphic arts vendors, designed to enable end-to-end automation via JDF integration from the desktop, via web-to-print and MIS through platesetting, printing and finishing.

As part of the EQUIOSNET Partnership Program, Screen provides an open standard interface to all partner vendors to connect with Screen’s workflow products and offers its considerable technical expertise to enhance end-to-end automation. The program will provide a variety of printing solutions that use end-to-end automation to prevent human error, shorten turnaround time and optimize the overall production process.

All exhibitors in the Print Automation Pavilion will be networked together, providing the ideal environment for visitors and potential vendor suppliers to see first hand how systems can be integrated. Screen will demonstrate the EQUIOSNET Imposition module at its stand.
