Bytes Document Solutions, specialists in workflow and digital print solutions, will introduce extensive improvements to its Infigo Web2print system at IPEX. This significant update confirms Infigos position as a truly customer-focused web2print product with its enhanced usability credited to its development based on extensive customer feedback.
Infigo is now simpler for printers to integrate and link to their preferred print management systems plus its now easier for the end-customers to use. With operational speeds that are over 40 per cent faster, the new functionality includes enhanced stock management, flexible pricing, improved approval and ordering processes plus it now has a full search and filter capability.
“Our customers have provided invaluable input to this latest release of Infigo,” says Douglas Gibson, Infigo Product Manager at Bytes Document Solutions. “And weve been delighted by the huge growth in the use of Infigo as printers look to attract new clients as well as deliver a higher value services to existing customers.”
New Infigo developments include:
Enhanced stock management – Infigo now incorporates both Virtual and Actual stock level management tools that incorporate email alerts to notify if an item is out of stock. A printer can assign virtual stock levels to different print, bin or warehouse locations. When an item is placed in an online shopping basket, the virtual stock automatically reduces. It is only when an item is shipped that the actual stock level is adjusted.
Flexible pricing – Printers can easily set-up their own minimum and maximum order quantities with discounts based on the multiple of items ordered. They can also set price discounts on bundle deals e.g. order 1-3 names on business cards for £45 or order 4-6 names for £60.
Multiple print management – Customers can now view multiple job tickets at once and they can assign many jobs to one hot folder. If they want to add orders to a job placed the previous day, they can simply add the new job to their hot folder and it will automatically update the production status.
Flexible reporting – This highly flexible reporting tool allows printers to manage, configure and tailor reports for themselves or for end customers. Reports can be formatted easily with the correct details set out for individual customers and exported as pdf, Excel or CSV files.
