Albo System installs pile turner for large sheets at Glomma Papp AS in Norway.

Monday 03. May 2010 - Glomma Papp AS is a Norwegian family business in the packaging industry that was established already in 1931. Glomma Papp produces various packaging products such as corrugated board but also board and paper. Their corrugated business on its own includes manufacturing as much as 45 million of square meter per year.

For their production plant in Sarpsborg, Albo System recently delivered and installed a semi automatic pile turner of model AS1800.

The pile turner is used in order to straighten the piles so that there are no feeding problems in the surrounding machines. The pile turner also helps keeping the sticky sheet completely separated from each other. The air system does not only also remove dust and powder it also helps speeding up the drying process.

Albo System’s semi automatic pileturner AS1800 is part of Albo Systems standard pile turner product line and can handle all sheet types up to 120 x 165 cm and a maximum load of 1800kg.

The motorised turntable and all programmable functions make even sheet handling for large sheets simple for the operators.

Albo System’s 1800-series includes just like the other standard sheet sizes everything from manual to inline pile turner solutions and they work very well for all kinds of sheets such as paper, board and corrugated board.
