Muller Martini Sells Three Concepta Models

Tuesday 06. April 2010 - The features that set a Muller Martini web offset printing press apart from the crowd are excellent print quality, ease of operation, good accessibility and high productivity, and two new customers in France, and a printing house in China, have certainly been won over on this basis.

Muller Martini has secured the Imprimerie Debusschère printing house in Wimille, France, as a new client. This family-run business operates primarily in the mailing industry and in the manufacture of A4 products. The 5-color machine is fitted with an ink zone control system, processing unit, rewind, QS52 sheeter and automatic rubber blanket-washing equipment. Web register adjustment allows Imprimerie Debusschère to produce orders based on more than five different printing inks in a second web path.
Two Concepta Models En Route to France
LGR Pharprint, based in Oyonnax in France, has also invested in a Muller Martini system for the first time, favoring a 4-color Concepta. The printing house’s product portfolio consists solely of packing slips for the pharmaceuticals industry, with grammages of 40-50 g/m². These products feature roll and cut signature designs and can therefore be processed to a high quality on existing finishing lines. Format sizes of 19 4/6″, 23 4/6″ and 24 5/6″ are cut in the Q74 stack delivery system and delivered in a Uniplus 520 stacker, specifically designed for lightweight paper stock.
8-Color Concepta for Chinese Printing House
Just 14 months after ordering its first 8-color Concepta, Chinese printing house Jiangsu Yuanyang Data Processing Co., Ltd. is investing in a second Concepta from Muller Martini. The new 8-color Concepta, featuring eight printing units, a processing unit, a folder, rewind and UV dryer, is predominantly used to produce 4/4-colored mailings. The QS52 sheeter supplied with the first Concepta will be used on both machines at Jiangsu Yuangang for the production of A3 and A4 products.
