Drytac Launch New Liquid Coatings for Giclée/Fine Art and Outdoor Applications

Wednesday 03. March 2010 - Drytac Europe Ltd, one of the world’s most highly regarded manufacturers of products for graphics finishing and display, will be launching 2 new liquid coatings for a range of finishing applications at Sign & Digital UK in April.

To be used in conjunction with the Drytac range of water-based liquid laminators or by hand application if preferred, these 2 new liquids are the latest additions to the already extensive range of EnduraCoat low-VOC water-based coatings.

The first on offer, EnduraCoat Fine Art, is available in both a Gloss and Satin finish. It is a premium grade coating that has been especially developed for the protection and enhancement of canvas/Giclée prints and eliminates the “micro air bubble issue” commonly found in many Giclée protection coatings.

The second coating to be launched is EnduraCoat Intego, a quick-drying, low-cost gloss coating designed for mop on applications. The coating is not only virtually odour free but also incorporates UV inhibitors rendering it suitable for three years outdoors.

Come along to the Drytac stand at Sign & Digital UK where you can see examples of the coatings first hand, as well as seeing the AFC 1600 water-based flood coater in action with live demonstrations throughout the day.

Launched only last year, the AFC Series has already proved to be a huge success for those in the industry looking for a lower cost solution to protecting inkjet graphics on vinyl, PSA, canvas, wall coverings and other flexible substrates. With its vast range of performance features, such as Dynamic Coating Technology, the preferred technology for coating Fine Art, and Interchangeable Mayer Bars which allow for precise control over coating thickness, the AFC Series is superior to any other currently available on the market.

Furthermore, it is available in 3 different sizes (1600mm, 2200mm and 3200mm) and is
very easy to operate and clean, with its multiple coating tanks and quick disconnect feature.

Also on the stand this year will be the brand new DES-6 Edger, a compact, simple and cost effective edging system for both curved and straight boards. Ideal for edging digitally cut eco-board structures like furniture, shelving and displays for retail displays and exhibitions.

Also on the stand will be the JetMounter1600, a versatile wide-format roller laminator with roll to roll capability and a heated top roller that allows it to be used with Heatset laminates and single-sided thermal adhesives as well.

For first hand regular demonstrations and to get your first look at our new machine, visit our stand in Hall 7, Stand F54.
