Tunicca and CMS Watch Announce Strategic Partnership in Europe

Thursday 28. January 2010 - Strengthening market position and technical expertise in content management

Pre-media experts Tunicca have announced a partnership with the content technology research & consultancy organization, CMS Watch. An agreement has been signed which enables Tunicca to promote and sell the independent reports that CMS Watch generates as part of their comprehensive and highly regarded research and analysis of content management systems. It also enables CMS Watch to utilise Tunicca’s expertise for digital content consultancy and project management in Europe.
CMS Watch publishes independent evaluations of the solutions of major digital content management vendors and these reports are utilised throughout a variety of industries. Written by recognised industry experts, they contain in-depth product analysis and are used by companies who need clarification and direction on suitable technologies to manage digital assets.
Both Tunicca and CMS Watch provide research, advice and guidance to companies in an area that is renowned for its huge complexities. In particular the myriad of vendors and technologies involved in products such as Digital & Media Asset Management can leave companies exasperated and open to making incorrect and expensive technology mistakes. This is an area where expert technical knowledge, linked to sound business advice, can prove invaluable for companies shopping in this market.
Tunicca and CMS Watch regard the agreement as a collaborative step in providing more extensive, neutral knowledge and expertise in the area of digital content management. Each company provides independent advice to the market with Tunicca concentrating on the Pre-media industry in particular. Tunicca’s Managing Director Sean Runchman states “We are very pleased to have arranged this collaboration with CMS Watch. We pride ourselves on our independence and so it was seen as a very natural fit to work with CMS Watch as they are also genuinely vendor-neutral.”
“Our customers are faced with increasingly complex technology choices and we are continually being asked to guide them through these decisions. CMS Watch’s in-depth reports will contribute great value in that process as those customers can get a truly independent view on where each solution fits – their strong points and weak points. This will then enable us to help our customers fit that technology effectively into their business processes to extract maximum value from both the process and the technology.”
CMS Watch is globally renowned and respected for its work in the area of content-oriented technologies. Theresa Regli, Principal of CMS Watch says, “As an organisation with similar standards and objectives in providing vendor-independent guidance to buyers and implementers of content technology, we are really looking forward to working with Tunicca. Supplier-neutral experts who operate in the area of Pre-media are quite rare. As such, a partnership between CMS and Tunicca makes perfect sense.”
Runchman adds “This arrangement enhances the Tunicca brand in that we can now provide even more in-depth technical assistance and guidance for our clients; particularly to those looking at the myriad of asset management solutions that occupy the market.”
