INNOVATIONPARC PACKAGING “Quality of Life”
It is not only the unmatched number of new and innovative products presented by exhibitors that make interpack a fair of innovations but also the special, future-oriented themes at the INNOVATIONPARC PACKAGING. In 2011 visitors can look forward to the “Quality of Life” theme that will be organised in collaboration with German future trend institute Zukunftsinstitut. Quality of Life describes a comprehensive concept oriented to the individual featuring the sub-topics meaning/sustainability, health/well-being, identity/belonging, simplicity/reduction and aesthetics/design. These sub-topics correspond directly with the core competences of the packaging industry. Falling under the sub-topic health, for instance, might be packaging material and printer inks with low colour migration or smart quality assurance with the help of the packaging. In addition to the INNOVATIONPARC PACKAGING Quality of Life other special themes are in the pipeline for interpack 2011.
