Fujifilm backs PrintIT! for fifth consecutive year

Monday 21. September 2009 - FUJIFILM Graphic Systems UK today confirms its continued support of the PrintIT! initiative. Since PrintIT!’s launch in 2005, Fujifilm has been firmly behind the programme which aims to develop young students’ knowledge of print and promote the industry as a career route.

Keith Dalton, director at FUJIFILM Graphic Systems UK, says: “PrintIT! is a fantastic initiative for students, encouraging them to take an interest in print, and we are always delighted to see the high number of quality entries every year. As this year’s Awards event is being held at Ipex 2010, we are delighted that we will be able to bring to life some of the ideas and showcase them on the Fujifilm stand.

“The programme continues to be a very important and valuable tool in helping to develop the printers of tomorrow, and we’re proud to be part of it. We are also working closely with PrintIT! to develop a number of new and exciting opportunities that will benefit participating students even further, and look forward to announcing these during the next few months.”

PrintIT! is led by Proskills, the Sector Skills Council for the Process and Manufacturing Sector, which includes the print and paper industries.
