Saturday 12. September 2009 - Casemaking System XXL can now produce hard covers - from wallet size to oversize tabloids. Ideal for producing hard cover bookbinding, photo books, turned-edge binders, game boards, menu and padded covers with no make ready.
The ODM Casemaking process consists of four easy steps: the Spreader, Slider, Stomper and Squeezer. CE approved.
The operator simply runs the cover material through the (Spreader) top side gluer, aligns cover boards in position with the (Slider) sliding table case gauge, turns in all four sides of the cover with the (Stomper) air operated turning in machine and feeds the finished cover through the (Squeezer) rotary press. The entire ODM Casemaking line is both self-adjusting and simple to operate, making it the ideal choice for on demand printers who require on demand bindery and short run applications. Built-in light box increases accuracy when aligning pre-printed covers. Just simply center the title on the scribed line and the type lines up perfectly on the spine. Eliminates the “bounce” in the registration.
Casemaking System XXL can produce up to 200 covers per hour from wallet to tabloid size, (min. size: 3″x5″; max. size: 24″x48″; up to 1/2″ thick).
